The hook-and-loop backing is solid enough that it doesn't budge even when I'm hauling a full loadout, and I love that I can swap it between my pack and belt in seconds. Standalone carry works just as well as mounting, so it's become my go-to for keeping cables and bits organized on the go.
The hook-and-loop backing is rock solid—I’ve had it mounted inside my backpack for two weeks of daily commutes and it hasn’t budged an inch. The standalone carry option is a nice bonus when I want to grab it without the whole bag.
Stuffed it with my EDC and it disappeared into my backpack's loop field—now everything has a home and I can actually find my multitool in the dark. The standalone carry option works great clipped to a belt too, and the stitching feels tough enough for daily abuse.
